GARY G. JACOBS Was president and CEO of the board of The Laredo National Bank (1976 to 2005). Mr. Gary G. Jacobs successfully established program funding for tourism development, including family mortgage programs in Mexico. Has funded projects highly significant tourism development in Mexico and Los Cabos since 1974. As a business banker debt through an exchange of debt capital to build the first full-service modern port in Mexico, which is now known Marina Cabo San Lucas.

 
HANK SAMES President and CEO, Sames Auto Group (Laredo, Corpus Christi, and Austin, Texas). The Sames family has lived and worked in Laredo and Mexico since the 1800s. Theirs is oldest automobile agency in Texas, founded in 1910. Mr. Sames and Mr. Jacobs served together for more than 30 years on the Board of Directors of the Laredo National Bank and remain partners in other businesses.
